This guide outlines the process to perform mailbox restorations within WHM via the Acronis plugin.
To begin, log in to WHM and enter “plugins” into the search box at the top left.
Then click on the Acronis Backup plugin link on the left, then click the Backups tab on the main page.

Click on the backup you would like to restore from. In this example, we will use the latest backup at the top.

Click on the “Mailboxes” option, as we are wanting to restore an existing Mailbox on the server.

Once the “Mailboxes” section is loaded you can select whichever mailbox you would like to either “Recover” or “Download”. Once you have selected your mailbox click “Recover”:

After you select Recover, a dialogue box will appear with additional options. This is providing you with an option to delete any emails that were created after the backup was taken.
In this example I will not select to “Delete any emails that were created after the backup” as I may have received some important emails since the mailbox backup was run, which would most likely be the case on the vast majority of mailbox restores:
We can now see that the task is being completed by the Acronis Plugin as highlighted below:

The status bar will change when the operation is completed to “Succeeded”:
