How to get your Usage Meter UUID

Article summary

To report your license usage correctly, Servers Australia requires your vCloud Usage meter UUID.

Pre-Requisites

Usage Meter must be at least version 4.8

Ensure you’ve added all licensed products to the usage meter.

Finding the UUID

First log into the Web UI of your usage meter appliance. This is usually listening on port 8443.

e.g. https://yourusagemeter.com.au:8443/login

Once logged in, find the “Profile” icon in the top right hand corner.

Select the ‘About’ option.

In the ‘About’ pop-up, you’ll see the “UM UUID” listed. Please provide this to Servers Australia so that we can ensure you have the correct entitlements.
