Will changing my cPanel password affect other passwords such as my email?

When a password change is completed for a cPanel account, the following other passwords are also affected:

• phpMyAdmin for the respective cPanel account

• Primary FTP Account for the respective cPanel account

• SSH / Terminal access (if enabled) for the respective cPanel account

Passwords that are NOT affected by a cPanel account password change

• Individual Email Accounts

• Secondary or Custom FTP accounts for the respective cPanel account

• Third-party utilities such as LiteSpeed, WP-Toolkit, Imunify360, Spam Filtering or similar

• Websites (WordPress, Joomla etc.)
