What happens if I go over my data allowance?

Before you do go over your allocation, we send alerts to you via email at 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100% of your usage.
If you go over your allocated data or bandwidth allowance on your Dedicated Server, Co-location, Cloud or Virtual server, you will automatically be charged a set rate of 20c per GB ex GST. This rate is one of the cheapest in the industry to ensure that there is no bill shock and unfair charges.
We do understand that this is still higher than buying a data pack, so we do allow you to pre-purchase additional data packs for your services provided that you do this before the end of the calendar month for which the overage has been incurred.
For example, if you receive a 90% usage notice on the 25th of the month, then you must upgrade to a data pack before the 30th of the month for it to apply. If you ask for the data pack to be applied on the 1st, then unfortunately this cannot be done.
