Pathping is a useful Windows tool similar to MTR in Linux. It combines the functionality of ping and traceroute together to give you a trace that records ping latency and packet loss along the path.
Opening command prompt
You can do this by typing "cmd" in the start search box or by pressing the Windows key + "R", typing "cmd", and clicking "command prompt".
To perform a pathping, open a command prompt and enter the following command:
pathping remote-server
where remote-server is the ip address or hostname you want to test.
This will give you an output similar to the picture below:
To get a greater sample size, you can add the "-q #" option to query each hop a number of times
