Parking and Unparking domains in WHM

What is a Parked Domain?

A parked domain is a domain name that is registered but not currently associated with an active website. Instead of displaying a fully developed site, parked domains typically show a placeholder page that might contain advertisements, a "coming soon" message, or a notice indicating that the domain is for sale.

Parking a domain

  1. In WHM, go to the ‘DNS Functions’ section and click ‘Park a Domain’.

  2. Select a domain to use as the base for your new domain.

  3. Enter the Domain you want to park on the right.

  4. Click ‘Submit

Un-parking a Domain

  1. In WHM, go to the ‘Account Information’ section and click ‘List Parked Domains’.WHM interface showing the option to list parked domains under account information.

  2. Search for the domain you wish to unpark, then click ‘Unpark’.
