Logging in to monitoring

Your Username and Password for https://monitor.servercontrol.com.au can be obtained within Services -> Management -> Log In To Monitoring:

Where it will then show your username and password, alongside a direct link to https://monitor.servercontrol.com.au:

The Monitoring Dashboard

The first page that you will see after logging in is the Monitoring Dashboard

This page will display the following information for all hosts with an MMA associated:

  • Status of monitoring agents on the hosts.
  • The amount of Disaster and High level alerts on each host.
  • An outline of all High and Disaster level alerts reported
  • The status of any HTTP web checks set up on your hosts

If you want to change the theme to a different one than light mode, you can do so within User Settings -> Profile -> Theme -> Pick your desired theme -> Update

Reviewing detailed information on each of your hosts

If you click on Monitoring >> Hosts on the side bar, you will be shown a list of all hosts that have an associated MMA.

For each host you will be able to see a summary of the latest collected data, any problems associated with the host, and any available graphs for the host's performance and resource usage.
