By default, accessing FTP for a particular cPanel account can be done by utilising the default cpanel-username@domain-name.com.au and its relevant password via Port 21 format. However, if you would like to create additional accounts to share with a developer, co-workers, or other this can be done as follows.
1. To start, log in to your cPanel account with your credentials
2. In the ' Files ' area on the main page, select ' FTP Accounts '
3. Fill out the corresponding information on the page to create your account. This will include the Login username, password, the specific directory (if not the primary user account directory), and a quota. Click ' Create FTP Account ', and the account will be created, and ready to use.
