1. To start, log in to your cPanel account with your credentials
2. Under the ' Preferences' group at the bottom of the page, select 'Password & Security':
3. Complete the fields shown on the following page, ' Old Password' , ' New Password'. Then you can select 'Change your password now!' to finish. Optionally, you can use the ' Password Generator' prompt to make a strong password for you. Regarding ' Enable Digest Authentication ', this can be left un-ticked.
4. Once you've successfully changed your password, you can now log out of cPanel and test your new credentials
Note: If you do not know the password for the account, you would need to log in via WHM and change the Account Password via the 'List Accounts' section.
