How to create a Custom Protection Plan

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a Custom Protection Plan within the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Portal.

This guide assumes that you already have access to the Acronis Cyber Product Portal, and that you are already logged in.

Otherwise, continue onwards into the guide once you have logged into the Acronis Cyber Product Cloud Portal

  1. Protection Plans are managed, imported and created within Management → Protection Plans in the Acronis Cyber Product Cloud Portal:

The following Modules will be enabled for your Protection Plan by default:


Backup: The main configuration for any backups taken.

Antivrius & Antimalware Protection: This is configured to scan the backups for any malware or viruses, and will by default quarantine these files for 30 days, before removing them.

Vulnerability Assessment: This scans the packages present within the backups for any vulnerabilities and
