If you have a Dedicated Server instead, please check this guide:

How to access IPMI / Remote Console

  1. Go to Services -> Virtual -> Virtual Cloud Servers -> The server in this case is SAU-AD25A-PV, and select View/Manage under the 3 dots as shown below.

If you can't see the Virtual Cloud Server in question:

First, check to make sure that you are in the correct place, and haven't accidentally entered another category.

If you're in the correct location and it isn't showing for you, you may not have the correct permissions for your account:

    Additional Contacts and Permissions

This will bring you into the Overview for your Virtual Cloud Server, where you can control the power, access the console, and more.

  2. Within the Overview, you can access the Console, as well as seeing the automatically generated user credentials for your VM:

  3. This will bring up the console in a new window:

    If your console disconnects

    1. It is worth double checking if the Cloud Server has been rebooted, as this will disconnect the console when it happens. Relaunching the console should fix this.

    2. If relaunching is unsuccessful, after a reboot, give it a minute to come back up, as the Cloud Server may still be rebooting.

    3. If it still isn’t responding, please follow this guide: Raising a Support Case with Servers Australia
