How do I navigate File Manager in cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel.

2. Select 'File Manager' under 'Files':

You will be presented with the following screen, which you can navigate similarly to most file systems. Double click on folders to access them, and the action buttons, such as New Folder and others are in the top bar:

Hidden Files

The file explorer, by default, hides hidden files. They usually are formatted like .htaccess. These are sometimes needed for WordPress and other CMS configurations.

In the ‘File Manager’, click on ‘Settings’:

2. From the pop-up, tick the box next to ‘Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)’. Then click ‘Save’.
