Add a Package within WHM

Generally, before you create a new account as a Reseller in WHM, you will need to create your own custom-tailored plans for your Users.

To action this, we would log in via WHM, and search for 'Add a Package':


On this Page, you will have a multitude of options, and some options may not be available due to the security levels of the server, or your level of access.

  • Package Name - You would enter the name of the Package you would like to use.
  • Disk Quota (MB) - The Maximum Disk Quota in MB you would like to allow your user to use.
  • Monthly Bandwidth (MB)- The Maximum Bandwidth in MB per month you would like to allow your user to use.
  • Max FTP Accounts - How many FTP logins your user will be able to use.
  • Max Email Accounts- How many Email Accounts your user will be able to use.
  • Max Email Lists - How many Mailing Lists your user will be able to use.
  • Max Databases - How many Databases the user will be able to use.
  • Max Sub Domains - How many Subdomains your user will be able to use.
  • Max Parked Domains - How many Parked Domains the user will be able to use.
  • Max Addon Domains- How many Addon Subdomains your user will be able to use.
  • Max Passenger Applications  - The maximum number of passenger applications allowed to be hosted on a domain.
  • Maximum Hourly Email by Domain Relayed - The maximum number of emails a domain can send per hour.
  • Maximum percentage of failed or deferred messages a domain may send per hour - As the name suggests, max defers per hour
  • Max Quota per Email Address (MB) - The maximum storage size allocated for an individual email address.

   Settings

  • Options -You may enable some functions, such as a dedicated IP, if you have it available.
  • cPanel Theme - This is the theme the account using this package will use when clients log in to cPanel.
  • Feature List - This is a list of features you are able to edit, such as Softaculous, MX Entry Modification, etc. You can modify these lists within the "Feature Manager".
  • Locale- The Language the Package will utilise.
