Uploading Media to your VDC
The Servers Australia VDC environment allows you to upload your own media, such as custom-made or distributed .iso media. You can then mount this media for installation or access.
Creating a Catalog
Navigate to the Libraries tab. Select Catalogs > New.
Define a name and optional description to be used for the Catalog. For example “Custom ISOs”
Adding Media
With the new Catalog, navigate to Media & Other.
From here, select Add. Select the Catalog that you created earlier and define a suitable name for the media.
You will need to select the appropriate media from your local computer and wait for the ISO to upload. Upload speed will vary depending on your network. Once uploaded, it will be available:
When creating a VM, you can select the ISO you’ve uploaded.
