1. Open MacMail
2. Click ' Mail ' and then ' Add Account... '
3. From the list choose ' Add Other Mail Account...'
4.Enter Incoming Account details then select ' Next '
5.Enter your Username, Select ' IMAP ' and select ' Next '
6. Un-tick ' Use SSL ' and select ' Password ' Authentication
7. Enter Outgoing Account Details then click ' Next ' (as well as incoming)
Now that the account is added. We need to configure it:
8. Select ' Mail ' and ' Accounts ' to view the Mail Account
9. Select ' Advanced ' and verify ' Use SSL ' in un-ticked
10. Select 'Account Information'. Now select 'Edit SMTP Server List' from the drop-down 'Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)'
11. Verify that the 'Server Name' is correct. The 'Description' should be the 'Server Name'.
12. Select ' Advanced '. For ' Server Port ' enter 587 and un-tick ' Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) '
Enter the same username and password as for the incoming settings and click ' OK'
