# How do I suspend an account in WHM

On occasion some users may need to perform a cPanel Account Suspension for one reason or another, this guide can show you how to complete this.

## Suspending an Account:

1. Log into WHM and navigate to the ‘**List Accounts’** section utilising the Search Box on the left, or locating this under **‘Favorites’** as shown:![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image-1688204970840.png)

3. Here you can suspend the account using the highlighted button below.
