The portal will also provide final payout details, if applicable. Please note that we have a strict 30-day cancellation policy, and any outstanding invoices prior to the service cancellation will still be due and payable. For example, if you only require a server for one month, you should request cancellation within 48 hours of placing your initial order and receiving the service. The service will continue to be active for the entire 30-day period during the cancellation process. ## Cancelling Services via the MySAU Portal To cancel services, please log in to the MySAU Portal dashboard and follow the steps for each product requiring cancellation. #### **Standard Services** (Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Cloud, Virtual Data Centre, Storage Products) Navigate to: Services → Actions (3 dots) → Cancel this service If you have add-ons associated with the service you are cancelling (e.g. Data Packs, Licences, Backup Services, etc.), these will automatically be cancelled. #### **Monitoring and Maintenance (MMA) Cancellation** Navigate to: Services → Management → Monitored Servers → Match the linked Server ID → Actions (3 dots) → Cancel this service Professional Services Agreement (PSA) Cancellation Navigate to: Support → Management → Manage Plan → Cancel PSA #### **Cancelling Add-Ons Only** If you wish to cancel an add-on associated with a service (but not the main product), such as: A Data Pack Reducing the number of licences Please create a case in the MySAU Portal for the Billing Team, and we will assist you. #### **Cancelling a Domain** To cancel a domain renewal on your account: Log in to the MySAU Portal dashboard. Select the relevant domain. Disable Auto Renew within the 30, 60, or 90-day email notice period before the renewal invoice is generated. If a Renewal Invoice Has Already Been Raised If the invoice is raised but unpaid and you do not wish to renew, please open a case in the MySAU Portal for the Billing Team. If the renewal invoice has been paid, the renewal process is automatic. You must still disable auto-renewal for the next billing period. #### **Help! My Domain Has Expired and I Need to Renew It** If your domain is within the grace period and eligible for reactivation, please contact our team via: A support case in the MySAU Portal, or Call +61 2 8115 8888 and select the Billing Department when prompted. Reactivation of an expired domain within the grace period requires an automatic payment method. Please add a credit card or a PayPal billing agreement to your MySAU Portal account before contacting the Billing Department. #### **Virtual Data Centre (VDC) – Software and Backup Cancellation Requirements** If you delete or remove a Virtual Machine from within the vCloud Director interface, this will not automatically terminate any associated software licences. These must be manually cancelled via the [mysau.com.au](http://mysau.com.au) portal. If you terminate all VDC resources, please note that this does not cancel backup services. Backup services must also be cancelled individually. #### **Withdrawing a Cancellation Request** If you have submitted a cancellation request but no longer wish to proceed, and would like to continue using the service: Please contact our team before the notified termination date via: A support case in the MySAU Portal, or Call +61 2 8115 8888 and select the Billing Department when prompted. ### [](https://docs.serversaustralia.com.au/docs/service-cancelations)
