We will need to confirm **Remote Console Access** is present and functioning before continuing. Please select **Remote Console → iKVM/HTML5** and click onto it. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image(162).png) > On Supermicro systems using Java KVM, only **Console Redirection**, **Power Control**, and **Launch SOL** will be present under **Remote Control**. You can download the console by clicking **Remote Console → Console Redirection**. This will download a **.jnlp** file for the Java console. Otherwise, continue below. 1. Select the **iKVM/HTML5** button to open the web console. Open the Remote Console located in the bottom left corner by clicking on the preview window, and then click **HTML5 Console**. This will then load directly into the **Acronis Startup Recovery Manager**. This can be accessed via the Boot Menu (pressing F11 during bootup). 1. Whilst the system starts up, please press F11 to prompt it to the Boot Menu. For encrypted backups, it will prompt you for the encryption password. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image(104).png) > In the event that the incorrect password is entered for encrypted backups, it will not proceed, and the password will highlight itself. > > Please proceed to the next section of the guide: > > [**Starting the Restore**](/v1/docs/restore-volume-or-disk-from-asrm#starting-the-restore) ## Starting the Restore > This will bring you through to the **Data to Recover Selection** screen within the **Cloud Storage Backup Location**. 1. Choose the recovery point that you want to restore from. Once this has been done, click **Hide Archives and backups**. This will bring you to a new screen to configure the recovery operation. Once this has finished loading review the page, ensure that the details match your expectations before continuing. This can be configured this further via **Recovery options… → Default**: ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image(110).png) > **If you do not plan to configure the Recovery Options beyond the Default** **please skip to Step 7** 1. Please configure this as necessary: > **Check the file system after recovery →** Performs a disk check after the restore is completed. > > **Restart the machine automatically after the recovery is finished →** Once the restore is completed, the server will restart immediately into the restored Operating System. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image(111).png) 1. The **Progress Tab** can be used to monitor the progress of the restore. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image(114).png) > If **Restart the machine automatically after the recovery is finished** was enabled in **Step 5,** the system will restart immediately after the restoration succeeds. 1. Within the **Actions** dropdown, select **Exit**.
