# R1Soft Backups

Servers Australia’s **R1Soft backup service** is currently in its **sunset (end-of-life) period**. As part of this transition, all R1Soft backup services will be **permanently decommissioned during the first half of 2026**.

Customers currently using R1Soft are strongly encouraged to begin planning their migration to an alternative backup solution to ensure continued data protection and avoid service disruption.

## Recommended Replacement: Acronis Cyber Protect

Servers Australia now offers **Acronis Cyber Protect** as our primary backup solution. Acronis is a modern, feature-rich platform designed to provide reliable, secure, and scalable backups for a wide range of workloads.
