# Manually start a backup via the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Portal

> [!WARNING]
> **NOTICE:** The steps in this section of the guide can only be completed by an Acronis portal user with Cyber Protection **Administrator** or **User** permissions.
> 
> However, a Cyber Protection **User** will only be able to view protected workloads associated with his or her self.

1. Log in to the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud portal, found here: [*https://backup.aci.servercontrol.com.au/login*](https://backup.aci.servercontrol.com.au/login)

> If you can see the “Backing up” text, a backup has successfully started on the Acronis agent!
