This guide outlines the steps for changing the email address and/or password associated with the designated “service account” user, typically used for backing up cPanel or Plesk servers.
Although this article focuses on the service user, the same method can be applied to any other users within your Acronis tenancy.
NOTICE: The steps in this guide can only be completed by an Acronis portal user with Acronis Management Portal Administrator permissions.
Log in to the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud portal, found here:

How to access the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud portal
Select the “Manage account” option located in the upper-left corner.

Select the “My Company” option located in the left navigation menu.

Select the particular user you wish to modify.
In this case, it’s the “SAU-42A41-AC-svc Service Account” user.

A new panel will emerge from the right side featuring additional information.
Click on the “General information” tab.

This section shows the details of the user. To reset the password, you must have access to the user's designated email address.
If you are unable to access the shown email address, click on the pencil icon to edit and input a new email address.
A verification email will be dispatched to the updated email address to confirm the modification, after which the change will be finalised.
To update the password, just click on the “Reset password” link.
An email will be dispatched to the User’s email address with a link to set a new password.
