# How to repair a MySQL database in cPanel

On occasional instances, one or more MySQL databases may require repair after they've self-crashed or there's been an underlying issue with coding. There are built-in repair utilities to cPanel and MySQL in general that can help rectify these problems.

1. 2. 3. cPanel / MySQL will then carry out the repair and advise on completion.
