# Parking and Unparking domains in WHM

## What is a Parked Domain?

A parked domain is a domain name that is registered but not currently associated with an active website. Instead of displaying a fully developed site, parked domains typically show a placeholder page that might contain advertisements, a "coming soon" message, or a notice indicating that the domain is for sale.

## Parking a domain

2. Select a domain to use as the base for your new domain.

4. Click ‘**Submit**’

## Un-parking a Domain

1.
