If you are using a Windows O.S, please refer to this article instead: https://docs.serversaustralia.com.au/v1/docs/how-to-download-and-launch-the-nsx-vpn-plus-client
macOS systems may find that attempting to download the included bundle file from the SSL-VPN web interface provides an unusable application file. This is a known problem due to the bundled application file of the NSX platform and macOS not being able to support 32-bit applications in later revisions.
If you have already tried downloading the original (32-bit) client:
In a terminal window:
sudo sh /opt/sslvpn-plus/naclient/uninstall_gui.sh
Then reboot the system and continue this guide.
Download the following 64-bit mac client to your local machine:
https://sw-dl.servercontrol.com.au/s_uploads/mac_phat_client.tgz
1. Open the .tgz file, which should extract to a folder in Downloads. Locate and select the SSLVPN-Plus Client.pkg file.
2. Continue through the prompted installer to install the software. 3. Complete all required installation steps. Once finished it should be marked as completed: 4. Locate and launch the application in the Applications folder. 5. The SSL VPN Client will launch. You will notice no network is currently available as this installer does not include your VPN's unique network settings:
6. Select Settings.
7. Add an Alias, such as VPN or SAUVPN.
8. Set the hostname based on the information we have provided you, typically cid-XXXX-vpn.servercontrol.com.au, or an IP address.
9. Set Port to 443. 10. Then click Add.
11. The Connection Alias you set above will be available as a Network option. Select Login.
12. You will be prompted for a username and password that you have created in your VCD login or that you have requested we create for you. For ease of access in the future, select Save Password. When successful, you will see a confirmation dialogue: You can now control login/logout controls via the icon in your macOS taskbar. Depending on your VPN configuration you should now be able to access "local" services behind the firewall.
