# How to create a Custom Protection Plan

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a Custom Protection Plan within the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Portal.

> This guide assumes that you already have access to the Acronis Cyber Product Portal, and that you are already logged in.

1. Within **Management → Protection Plans**, click **Create Plan**

1. The creation configuration settings will open from the right side of the screen:

> The following Modules will be enabled for your Protection Plan by default:
>

> **Backup**: The main configuration for any backups taken.
> 
> **Antivrius & Antimalware Protection:** This is configured to scan the backups for any malware or viruses, and will by default quarantine these files for 30 days, before removing them.
> 
> **Vulnerability Assessment:** This scans the packages present within the backups for any vulnerabilities and
