As all Acronis users require two-factor authentication, this is useful for providing Acronis access to other individuals. > [!WARNING] > **NOTICE:** The steps in this guide can only be completed by an Acronis portal user with Acronis Management Portal Administrator permissions. --- 1. Log in to the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud portal, found here: [*h*](https://backup.aci.servercontrol.com.au/login)[*ttps://backup.aci.servercontrol.com.au/login*](https://backup.aci.servercontrol.com.au/login) > The default tenant username can be found in the MySAU portal, as shown in this guide: [**How to access the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud portal**](/v1/docs/access-acronis-cyber-protect-portal) 2. Company administrator: > > Grants administrator permissions for both the Management Portal and Protection service. **Selecting this will set all sections to Administrator.** > 2. Management Portal: > 1. Read-only administrator Grants read-only access to the Management Portal. > 2. Administrator > > Grants administrator access to the Management Portal, where users can be created and modified. > 3. Cyber Protection: > 1. User > > Enables use of the Protection service, but does not grant administrative rights. Cyber Protection users do not have access to data of other users in the organisation. > 2. Read-only administrator > > Grants read-only access to all objects of the Protection service in the organisation. Cyber Protection read-only administrators have read-only access to data of other users in the organisation. > 3. Restore operator > > This role serves no purpose, as the functions it supports are not enabled. > 4. RMM operator > > This role serves no purpose, as the functions it supports are not enabled. > 5. Administrator > > This role enables configuring and managing the Protection service. 8. The newly created user will then appear in the user list. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image(126).png) Acronis will automatically send a welcome email with a verification link to the email address chosen. The new user will need to use the link to set a password and a 2FA device before he or she can access the Acronis Cloud Protect portal. > NOTE: This new user will not automatically receive notifications for Acronis task or alerts.
