# How to access IPMI / Remote Console

The following guide shows how to find your access details and log in to the remote console / IPMI console of your dedicated server.

1. Log in to the MySAU Portal ([https://www.mysau.com.au/login](https://www.mysau.com.au/login))
2. Go to Services and click on your dedicated server.
3. Select Access from the left-hand service sub-menu and then IPMI Console in the main screen;

4. Select the length of time you will need IPMI access:

5. Click the "Login to your IPMI Console" button and use the credentials on the following page to gain access to your IPMI controller:

IPMI Access isn't working?It will take a short period for the IPMI console to enable external access and initialise. This is expected to happen quickly, but might take up to a few minutes in extenuating circumstances.
