How to reboot my Virtual Cloud Server:

The following guide shows how to reboot a virtual server via the MySAU portal (https://www.mysau.com.au/login)

If you haven't checked the console of the server, you can do so via the following guide:

How to Access Remote Console for Cloud Servers

  1. Go to Services -> Virtual -> Virtual Cloud Servers -> The server in this case is SAU-AD25A-PV, and select View/Manage under the 3 dots as shown below.

    If you can't see the Virtual Cloud Server in question:

    First, check to make sure that you are in the correct location, and haven't accidentally entered another category.

    If you're in the correct location and the Virtual Server  isn't showing for you, you may not have the correct permissions for your account:
    Additional Contacts and Permissions

    This will bring you into the Overview for your Virtual Cloud Server, where you can control the power, access the console, and more.

  2. Within Overview, you can control the power of the system within the Actions submenu. Go ahead and select Reboot:

You can now wait for the server to boot, or you can monitor that by viewing the console:
