# How do I create a catch-all email address in cpanel?

> 
> We do not recommend setting up Catch-all email addresses. In most cases it’s better to configure specific email addresses for any given purpose. A catch-all will increase the amount of spam received as it will collect anything aimed at the domain, even if the account doesnt exist.

1. Log in to cPanel:

1. Under the ‘**Email’** section, click ‘**Default Address’**.

1. If your account has multiple domains linked to it, select the correct domain from the drop-down box under **Default Address Maintenance**, then select the **Forward to Email Address** option and input the email address you want the email forwarded to.
