# How do I change my cPanel password

1. To start, log in to your cPanel account with your credentials

3. Complete the fields shown on the following page, ' **Old Password**' , ' **New Password**'. Then you can select '**Change your password now!**' to finish. Optionally, you can use the **' Password Generator'** prompt to make a strong password for you. 4. Once you've successfully changed your password, you can now log out of cPanel and test your new credentials

*Note: If you do not know the password for the account, you would need to log in via* ***WHM*** *and change the Account Password via the '****List Accounts****' section.*
