# How can I retrieve the login details to my Virtual/Dedicated Server?

> This doesnt include VDC, Private Cloud or VM’s on Self hosted Hypervisors (esxi, hyper-v, proxmox)

Your server login details are stored securely in the MySAU Portal. To access these please follow the below listed steps:

3. From the service listing, select the type of server, either **Dedicated** or **Virtual.**

The username and password are available here. You can find your IP allocation within **Network** if needed.

> This will only show the initial password. If you have a PSA, this can be updated if you provide the password via a support case. However, there is no automated system to detect changes.

> If you do not know the password, a password change will need to be done. If you are unable to do this yourself, feel free to lodge a support case.
