# Downloading files from your R1soft backups

Open the backup manager URL. e.g, [http://backup-X-X.servercontrol.com.au/](http://backup-2-4.servercontrol.com.au/) (if you are unsure as to where your server is being backed up to, please contact our support team)

Once logged in, go to “Protected machines” on the left-hand side just under “Dashboard”:

Find your machine in the list/search field. You can search for the SAU order ID here:![](https://cdn.document360.io/d809f158-d4f4-47ff-83d4-18d9c9f7a04d/Images/Documentation/image-1687547892243.png)

Click the cog on the right hand side to access and then click “Open Recovery Points”:

Choose your recovery point and then click the cog on the right hand side of it:

Once you select the cog, click “Browse”:

This will bring you to a menu with a few options. On the first screen, click "Next":

Select what format of compression you want to download your files as and click "Next":
